Hi. I am a linux newbie and I am using redhat 6.2. I've been surfing the net and cruising around the various caverns to be found in my 2 gigs of linux stuff loading onto my harddrive. In all of my searches for learning tools I'm either directed to really basic entry or advanced tutorials. Is there a good site to learn what to do after the install and your on the net. I'm wanting to get oriented with various tools like unzip, leechftp and others but figuring how to unzip a file or other commands is like walking through a jungle for me. Also I'm having trouble with my cd w/r and player. I have the sound card configed and I have listened to midi files but my cd player gives me no sound though it looks like it's playing. Any leads ?
