Thank's for checking Rik. I am using a Dell PIII system with a Microsoft Intellimouse 1.1A PS/2 compatible mouse. That is what it says on the bottom. It appears to be made by microsoft and comes with the computer. I found something on the web that suggested killing the gpm processes but that did not seem to make a difference either. I ran XF86Setup but the mouse control goes crazy in there as well. If you need more precise info, please let me know. Also, I live in Ashland and am interested in joining RPLUG so once I get over my newbie hurdles, I would like to get involved. I look forward to hearing from you.
